You’ll learn how to derive actionable insights from human-centred research and a creative, innovative mindset. And, you’ll achieve powerful differentiation from your competitors.

Like all design thinkers, we prefer action and tangible outcomes. All our training classes are workshop style, focused on gaining practical experience in the resolution of real problems. We have extensive experience teaching groups on-site or off-site, specialist groups or multi-disciplinary teams. We offer a range of custom classes and programmes at introductory and advanced levels, where extended follow-up coaching is provided while the learning is adapted and embedded in the work situation.

Please call us to discuss your interests. We’re sure we can make immediate impact on your innovation journey and help you become leaders in your sector.

½ Day on-site training
We’ll plan a custom delivery of training to individuals and groups at your site. The half-day session can be an introductory overview or adopt a more narrow in-depth focus. We’ll agree topic, content, level and desired learning outcomes with you in advance. In a 4-hour session, you get a deeper understanding of the capabilities of design innovation. We’ll explore numerous case studies to show how it has been successfully applied in large and small companies. And, together, we’ll explore how and where the principles and processes might be applied to good effect in your own business. Among the topics we cover as broad overview or narrower focus are: design thinking, design innovation, user research, creativity, idea generation, concept development, business model design.

Follow Up Coaching
As participants progress from practising new methods in the safety of the classroom to larger and more complex problems in real working life, they may need continued coaching support for an extended period. This coaching combines the roles of trainer and consultant, although with the former ‘trainer’ role taking precedence. The coaching role is to support maintaining the deployment of good practice in the face of uncertainty and expediency pressures that are found everywhere in real life. The early period of deployment is when fresh ideas and new practices are most fragile. An experienced coach helps to plot a course that secures the confidence of the trainee and begins to diffuse the good practice throughout the organisation, by example. Coaching can be continuous, scheduled, event driven, or by invitation.
